Gurukula is Tops in Mathura
Posted May 9, 2009
The selection was released in the newspaper's Education and Career
section on May 6.
BGIS is two schools in one: the primary level Gurukula, classes 1 through 8, and the International School, classes 9 through 12. Currently, there are 200 students, primarily residential, with some local day scholars. The small numbers contribute to a personal and caring atmosphere.
The students in the International School take their final exams with the ICSE Board of Education, an internationally recognized board located in New Delhi. BGIS is also linking with The Learning Community International, which offers students opportunities to get US-based high school diplomas in a wide variety of subject choices and independent learning plans that include obtaining credit for their spiritual practices.
