Vyasa-puja Offering for Srila Prabhupada, 2003

Dear Srila Prabhupada,
Please accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet.
By your manifest qualities and actions you have established yourself for our benefit as spiritual master of all. The message of parampara acaryas descending from Sri Krsna is essential for all living entities to escape the bonds of mundane attitude and uncover their original consciousness of spirit. Your mission and personal example is in no way confined by denomination or factional, dogmatic viewpoints. It is all-inclusive and accommodating; simultaneously uncompromising in its rectitude and adherence to the principles of devotional life. Your pastimes and instructions are full and complete, from pragmatic detail to esoteric understanding of the most sublime truths in existence.
The bright light of my life is that I have, by your grace, become aware of your vast and magnificent mission and the path of following you in the scientific process of Krsna consciousness. I have not assumed my place in this mission, nor have I found my way to this path. But I know that it exists, and thus I am full of hope.
My aspiration is to contribute to the expansion and embellishment of your endeavors. I offer you my desire to give all parts of me as an instrument to fulfill your intentions. In serving you with innovation and boldness, I wish to withhold nothing that Krsna has placed in me. I ask for the strength to do this with abandon, free from concern about status or judgements. My integrity is entirely connected to your desires.
My dear Srila Prabhupada, because you appeared in my life I have rediscovered a glimpse of who I am as a spiritual part of Sri Krsna. My debt to you is unfathomable. Please mold my life as you like, to assist in your spotless service to the Lord. On this most auspicious day of your Vyasa-puja ceremony I present these stanzas:
Guiding us to Krsna, fearless and bold
Never compromising, may we never fold
Srila Prabhupad, living in our hearts
Dedication firm, let us play our parts
Caring for all souls, you gave without end
Enlighten with force, for all hearts to mend
Delusion can't stand, your lights penetrate
We must follow suit, no this cannot wait
Supernal qualities, forever they will be
Our service to ensure, that all the world will see
Sublime love for Krsna, the Person Supreme
Without imitation, we follow as a team
Foreboding in your books, accommodate with grace
Unqualified we strive, to capture a safe place
Painter of visions grand, the greatest ever known
The future in our hand, bhakti's seed you have sown
