No Need for Siksa Other Than Srila Prabhupada's

Over the internet we can see a wide variety of articles wherein swamis and gurus and their followers are trying to justify why it is okay to take siksa from them. That is okay, but for iskcon devotees it is really about hearing from Srila Prabhupada as a primary function.

It is a fact that all devotees who joined from the western countries owe their alligiance to Srila Prabhupada and this is done not just by serving him but also from hearing from him.

Prabhupada fullfilled the prophecy, everyone elses siksa is of a lesser calibre and is less potent, otherwise why could others not accomplish what he did?

So, my question to all of you who are bickering about this and that, why we should take siksa from Narayan Maharaja, Gaura Govinda Maharaja, Sridhar Maharaja etc.. is why do we need to, when we have Srila Prabhupada?

Even in ISKCON, the present day gurus seem to have prominent siksa roles than Prabhupada and this is an offense. They are supposed to be guiding their disciples to Prabhupadas siksa but their books and instructions seem to become more prominent in a disciples life. Even Iskcon has not yet mellowed out as much as it should have from the zonal acarya days with disciples still being encouraged to worship their gurus on the same level as Srila Prabhupada. The GBC enforced the dropping of the honorifics but still some gurus such as Hridayananda Maharaja still relish and allow the term "Acaryadeva" to be used instead of the term "Gurumaharaja'.

So, it not just the gauidya maths that are minimising Prabhupada, it is also within ISKCON.

It is plain common sense that we just surrender to the fact that Prabhupada is the main guru (not diksa for most of us) but siksa and this means that we do not actually need to go anywhere else.

This realisation is spreading like wildfire as so many present day gurus are clearly not coming up to the mark. Take the Gurukulis of iskcon for instance-try convincing them that any present day guru is on the highest platform and they will tell you that Prabhupada is the one for them.

Please stop bickering about Guru Tattva and wake up a little and accept the obvious-Prabhupada always was and always will be number one and everyone else comes a not very close second.

There is only one acarya and we know this, it is time we all accepted this once and for all and then all the fighting will stop.
