Where is purity if we turn fanatics?

It's an unfortunate trend that in a fit of "anti-non-devotee" zeal we ignore certain basic facts.
Should we avoid sugar? They use calcium phosphate from cow-bones to refine raw sugar.
Should we also avoid soaps,tooth-paste and many other article made by non-devotees?
Srila Prabhupad has taught us the science of Krishna Consciousness based upon the theorum:
"Utility is principle, Purity is the force"
And where is purity if we turn fanatics and where is utility if we try to avoid unavoidable?
Milk is a good source of protein and calcium for vegetarians but it's not indispensable. If you don't want to drink milk for either ethical or medical reasons try to switch to unsweetened, calcium-fortified Soy Milk. Soy Milk is not a good source of calcium. Eat lots of broccoli and spinach on regular basis as they could provide additional calcium and have great nutritional value.
Remember we are dependent on "non-devotees" for many things.
Philosophically who is devotee and non-devotee is more of semantics as
an enlightened soul every one is a devotee!
