Interviewing Abuse Survivors
Posted October 17, 2006
My name is Re'em Stern, and I am a student of Theology in Radhadesh,
Belgium. For a course on contemporary social issues in ISKCON I would be
interested to interview survivors of physical child abuse on how they cope
with their past within ISKCON. Statistics show that child abuse rates
increase yearly worldwide, and so it is possible that various ISKCON members
are suffering the pain of abuse that occurred outside the movement.
Regardless of where the abuse occurred, either within or outside the
movement, I would appreciate your cooperation in sharing how you deal with
it in your daily lives and in the attempt to always remember Krishna. You
can write to: bh.reem@gmail.com.
I will not share any information you provide without your agreement.
