The Irony of the age of kali
Posted February 12, 2004
I was taken back by the irony of the news that the Child Protection office is closing due to a lack of financial support and reading the news that the new Spiritual warrior book is now available at a bargain price if you get in before Gaura Purnima. Maharaja points out in his article that "These books are especially good for leaders who are counseling devotees who are confronted with mental crisis's, such as depression, phobias, attacks by the six enemies of the mind as well as those who have lost faith in the power of the process of bhakti." Maybe the solution to solve the financial crisis of the Child Protection Office is to offer the profits from all the spiritual warrior books to the Child Protection Office so it too can help those in mental crisis with the attrocities faced whilst being abused under the shelter of Iskcon during their attempts of practising bhakti.
