Would Prabhupada's ideas differ today?

Apparently the gist of "Where Are They Now?" is that, according to Amara das's observation and mundane standards ("current polls," etc.), Srila Prabhupada was wrong about the gay marriage issue. Amara prabhu imagines that Srila Prabhupada would have changed his transcendental opinion to coincide with Amara's views.
Does living by adharma for several years constitute dharma? Or does
"socially acceptable and commonplace" indicate dharma? This is pure
foolishness, and my embarassment at being a Chakra reader has just about
reached its limit.
