Inspired Brahmacari Preacher Needed
Posted July 28, 2011
Hare Krishna, Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
I'm happy to announce that the new Louisville, Kentucky preaching center is getting off the ground nicely. But being one single young devotee is a challenge. What I would like to find is a progressive, inspired, and very kind-hearted male devotee who would like to team up and help guide and inspire this project here in Louisville. The preaching potential in Louisville is excellent, with a huge alternative district, a large college, many yoga studios and health food stores, many alternative-culture people, many Indians and a history of past devotee activity. Regional to this strategic area is Murari's Kirtan Valley in TN, Columbus and Cincinnati, Ohio, Atlanta, GA, New Vrindavan, Asheville, NC, Bloomington, IN, and St. Louis, MO. Louisville is dripping ripe to take off with Harinama Sankirtan.
I have a very nice facility, an old family brick house with no rent to worry about and equipped with a nice kitchen and bathroom, excellent temple space, several bedrooms, wood floors, garage, back deck and a huge basement. The lawn is spacious and I'm starting a veggie garden and have some fruits growing. This is an ISKCON-centered endeavor. My vision is to host progressive programs mainly for youth, including Nama Hatta programs, harinamas, book tables, mantra meditation, college preaching, Bhakti clubs, music festivals and new methods of outreach. The preaching center will also serve as an ashram for sincere souls. The only requirements are adherence to good standards of sadhana and inspiration to go out and do preaching work most days, also you must be willing to communicate, and generally be gentle, kind and good natured :) Kirtan skills a huge plus. So if this is of any interest to you, lets open up a dialogue. Please contact me at sankirtanlouisville @ gmail.com and see the project at Click Here
