The White Eagle Village and Conference Center in Crestone Colorado had been reduced in price by half to 900k. It is a 50 room hotel with three conference rooms and a fully certificd fully equipped restaurant. There are 167,000 square feet in the building with a courtyard on 5 acres. That puts the price at $5 a square foot. In addition in late summer 09 and early fall there is 175K of sugned contracts. If you have ever wanted to have your own center whether the purpose be spiritual, educational, health related or a combination..... this is a grand opportunity. To build a place this size would cost millions of dollars. The place needs a stucco job and other cosmetic upgrades but is turn-key functional. The contracts on it are all spiritual retreats (mostly buddhist) that have come for years and years. They are accostumed to high quality organic vegetarian food and whoever buys the White eagle must fulfill these contracts with integrity. The 175 mentioned above is income that will come within a 60 day period. This is not counting walk-in business, music festival business, another weeklong retreat in June and business that will book as summer gets closer.
My husband Joe has had three strokes and I simply cannot run it myself anymore. In this area there are 7 Tibetan Buddhist centers, 3 Zen Centers, Carmelites, Zorasters, Jains and an Ashram to the Divine Mother called the Haidakhandi Ashram. We even have an open air cremation stupa. Wildlife roam freely and the air is clean. The valley sits at 8000 ft with the Sandre De Cristo Mountain range towering over at 14,000 ft. Spiritually Crestone would benefit from Krishna being represented here. Just thought I would put it out there at Chakra.org in case there were some devotees who had a dream. There is business to support the place while a purpose and vision get refined. I will consider all offers but give special preference if there was a possibility of the Chant of Hare Krishna coming to Crestone.
