We are happy to announce that a "Vanaprastha Ashram, A Vedic Home for Elders" is being set up at Melkote, Karnataka, India, featuring a calm, pollution-free environment, with a moderate, temperate climate. It has all basic necessities and is spiritually enriched.
It includes an Intelligently designed dormitory and rooms which are well ventilated with suitable railings. Comfortable toilets and bathroom with rough, non-slip flooring and railings. A dedicated staff of devotees, administrators, cooks and maids twill help make the stay comfortable, enlivening and enriching.
There is a small and beautiful temple for Sri Sri Jagannath, Baladev and Subhadra, where satsangas and festivals are held all round the year.
All medicines and medical accessories that may be needed for treatment of the residents are on hand, as per the advice of senior doctors. An ambulance facility is also available. Age-specific yoga asanas and pranayama are part of the daily regimen.
Parks and gardens with comfortable benches and walking-jogging tracks.
Admissions are open for devotees who are over 50 and who wish to stay long-term or short-stay at our facility in Melkote. Devotees who can pay can give a donation for their stay. Accommodation and Prasadam is free for all devotees who are unable to pay.
