Are You Planning a Pilgrimage to India?

I would like to share my experience with any devotee who may be planning a trip or pilgrimage to India. I have traveled to India many times, and know how difficult it can be to find safe and clean accommodations.

A few years ago, I found a great place to stay in Delhi, called The Hare Krishna Devotee Guest House. My experiences were so wonderful, that I now use their accommodations every time I visit.

The service is fantastic, and I have always been promptly picked up at the airport by a competent driver. This guest house facility is within a 5 minute walking distance from the Delhi ISKCON Hare Krishna temple.

I have always found the guest house manager, Hari das, to be very caring and attentive to my needs. The staff drivers always greet me at the airport by holding up a sign with my name on it. They can accommodate individual travelers in a single room. or even an entire group in a two bedroom apartment. You can even ask for their in-house Krishnaterian cook, who will prepare meals according to your personal dietary requirements, or have them pick up pure vegetarian meals from a nearby restaurant.

Hari das offers tour guide services, and organizes extended tours to various holy places upon your advance request. I traveled in one of their new Scorpio SUV vehicles, which has great AC. The drivers are very knowledgeable about all the road conditions to holy places; whether it be going to the mountains, or traveling on state highways. Most other tour guides have a daily mileage limit and make you pay the road taxes and parking fees; but with this guest house, the staff drivers take care of these needs, allowing you, the traveler to enjoy the trip, so you are free from such worries.

I am recommending this guest house, as I wish for every devotee traveling to India to be able to enjoy the spiritual experience, while being free from material anxieties, as much as possible.

I have found all the rooms to be clean and very pleasant to stay in; especially if one plans to stay in Delhi for a few days. For nicely furnished rooms, and reliable transportation; Hari das and his experienced drivers are first-class, and I consider them to be quite trustworthy. Internet is also available. I highly recommend this top-notch facility.
