Posted July 30, 2003
Bhaktivedanta College, at Radhadesh in Belgium, is organizing a Bhakti-sastri course to run from Feb 23 through June 18, 2004. All devotees are welcome to attend.
Sankirtana das and Yadunandana das will teach from the Bhagavad-gita, Jaya Bhadra dasi the Nectar of Instruction, and Lilasuka das the Isopanisad, whilst Rati Manjari dasi will teach from the Nectar of Devotion.
Tuition for the program itself will be 200 Euros per student. Temple accommodation and prasadam will cost an additional 1000 Euros per person.
In a 1976 letter to Upendra das, Srila Prabhupada emphasized that he wanted all his disciples carefully to read his books and study Vaisnava philosophy. "Soon we shall be instituting Bhakti-sastri examinations and all brahmanas will have to pass," he wrote, "so utilize whatever time you find to make a thorough study of my books."
