Chakra writer in hospital
Posted September 14, 2004
Chakra's Iraq correspondent Jaya Govinda das, the author of the "Memoirs of a Modern-Day Ksatriya" series, is currently hospitalised in Germany. He reports that he is suffering some debilitation and that doctors will attempt to diagnose the cause. In addition, he will require surgery on his hands, which, he writes, "have pretty much been rendered useless by the military."
Naturally, the contemplated surgery, in addition to his extreme fatigue, make it impossible for him to send continued reports to Chakra for some time. He regrets that he will be unable to respond personally to the many emails he has received from devotees and other well-wishers.
