Memorial Day Prabhupada Festival in Los Angeles

This Memorial Day Weekend, May 24 - 25th,marks the 12th Annual Prabhupada Festival. For more than a decade the New Dvaraka community of devotees have celebrated the Srila Prabhupada Festival, for the glorification of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, Founder-Acarya of the International Society for Krsna Consciousness.

Every year devotees travel from the far corners of the world to participate in this two-day event. The festival events include devotees sharing pastimes of Srila Prabhupada, Kirtans, feasts, Bhajans, entertainment and the treasured association of devotees. Booths will be open displaying and selling Prabhupada's books, images, videos, Prabhupada memories, prasadam, and several exhibits will be displayed. Also fire sacrifices and ecstatic kirtans, Srila Prabhupada pushpanjali and the Srila Prabhupada arrival create an atmosphere that is truly transcendental.

The Prabhupada Festival will be held on Memorial Day Weekend, May 24 - 25th, 2003. It is held every year in Los Angeles, California at ISKCON New Dvaraka. New Dvaraka was visited many times by Srila Prabhupada and was one of the first temples built in ISKCON.
