Posted October 17, 2008
Three Gaudiya Math temples are cooperating to support a 2008 pilgrimage to the principal holy places of Vrindavan. The event, known as Sri Vraja-mandala Parikrama, is once again organized and guided by Srila B.V. Narayana Maharaja.
For more than half a century, His Holiness Narayana Maharaja has conducted this annual parikrama, facilitating and nourishing pilgrims from all parts of India and elsewhere with hari-katha.
This year's festival runs from 14 October to 13 November. There will be kirtanas, lectures on Sri Damodarastakam, Srimad Bhagavatam, Sri Caitanya-caritamrta and other bhakti literatures, as well as darsanas of the famous pastime places in Vraja-mandala. Three Vaishnava temples from Mathura, Vrindavan and Govardhan invite everyone to come and join the festival. You may contact Sri Kesavaji Gaudiya Matha, Mathura, at 0565-2502334; Sri Rupa Sanatana Gaudiya Matha, Vrindavana, at 0565-2443270; or Sri Giridhari Gaudiya Matha, Govardhan, at 0565-2815668.
Devotees who wish to stay for the entire month must pay at least Rs. 6,500 each to help cover the basic parikrama expenses throughout this month. The fee includes simple accommodations and general facilities, bus travel and delicious prasadam.

"Where do all people automatically and effortlessly obtain pure ecstatic love for Krsna? Where does the Supreme Personality of Godhead manifest His supremely wonderful pastime form? Where is the empire of the bliss of devotional service to Krsna's lotus feet manifest? O brother, listen as I will tell you a secret. All this is present here in Vrindavan."
