Installation of Sri Sri Krishna Balaram, Sunday, August 13th 2006 Queens, New York

The Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mandir ( ISKCON Devotees ) of Queens, New York City cordially invites everyone to the archa installation of their Lordships Sri Sri Krishna Balaram. The installation takes place on Sunday 13th August 2006, 6:00 p.m., at the SKC Mandir, 111-14 101 Avenue, South Richmond Hill, NY 11419; the Deities of Their Lordships are life size, and are same size as the deities at the Sri Sri Krishna Balaram Mandir, Vrndavana, India.

The installation will include a Mahaabhishek with sacred ShyamaKund and RadhaKund water, circum ambulation of Their Lordships, and the offering of 108 preparations. The ceremony will be conducted by HG Ravindra Svarupa Das ( ISKCON GBC ), and he will be assisted by Manukaniya Devi Dasi , and Maheswara Das. Other disciples of His Divine Grace A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada like H.H. Chandrasekar Swami, and HG Bushara Das will be present. Other parts of the program include arotik, kirtan, bharata natyam style dance, and a huge multiple course vegetarian feast.

The installation of their Lordships provides an ideal opportunity for all of us to make further spiritual advancement. We are humbly requesting everyone not to miss this once in a lifetime all auspicious event; according to Srimad Bhagavatam 3:29:16 “The form of the Lord known as arca-vigraha is an expansion of His unlimited potencies. When the Lord is gradually satisfied with the service of a devotee, in due course of time He accepts the devotee as one of His many unalloyed servants. By nature, the Lord is very compassionate; therefore, the service of neophyte devotees is accepted by the Lord.”
