Radhadesh, January 10, 2006 - As a member of the Radhadesh congregational preaching team I would like to bring your attention to the dynamic spiritual atmosphere generated here by a variety of seminars and interactive workshops. Radhadesh is well known the world over for being one of Europe's foremost spiritual educational centers. It started more than 10 years ago when Radhadesh began their famous ISKCON Conventions during the summer. Here, leading devotees such as HH Prahladananda swami, HH Jayadvaita Swami and Ravindra Svarupa Prabhu gave memorable seminars on a variety of subjects.

Today, after the construction of a 17-room guesthouse and community hall, Radhadesh has expanded the program of seminars for the weekends, throughout the year. Now, you can find workshops on yoga by HH Sacinandana Swami, cooking courses by Kurma Prabhu and bhajan classes by Vaiyasaki dasa. Other devotees who visited Radhadesh in the past are HH Bhakti Tirtha Swami, Sesa Prabhu, HH Bhakti Caru Swami, HH Smita Krsna Swami, Braja Bihari Prabhu, and HH Kadamba Kanana Swami to name just a few.

To give you a sample of upcoming events we are presenting seminars by Kurma dasa and Vegavan dasa from Sweden on 1st and 2nd of July. Our summer ISKCON Convention, which begins 3rd of July, will present a variety of VIHE courses, such as developing communication skills.

If you are interested in attending these courses as a student then please write to myself, Jatayu dasa at I will put you in our Radhadesh Newsletter database. In this newsletter you will be informed of all classes and seminars given here, months in advance. You will need to know English since all seminars are spoken in this language. The cost of the seminars will vary and likewise the accommodations as well. Please refer to our Radhadesh Temple web-site for more information and for available guesthouse facilities. When you decide to come, please book your room as early as possible.

Attending these seminars actually helps to build personal character and increase ones preaching abilities. In addition to this, a devotee will be immersed in the high-energy association of other devotees from all parts of Europe. The weekend seminars can attract 10-60 participants, depending on the subject matter. The classroom for these seminars is a huge 130 square meter community hall that was constructed simply for this purpose.

The Radhadesh Administration Council is headed by Hrdaya Caitanya Prabhu, who has been the temple president here for the past twenty years. He has worked many years to create this educational environment for the pleasure of HDG Srila Prabhupada. It was Srila Prabhupada's dream to have such educational institutions all over the world. Our deities, Sri Sri Radha Gopinatha are certainly beautiful beyond imagination, our prasadam, prepared by a team of six devotees is always satisfying and our guesthouse staff will service all your personal needs.

If you have already been to Radhadesh Temple and are impressed by it's high standard of educational values and have a desire to help maintain it, then please write me, Jatayu dasa, about becoming a supporting member. A simple monthly donation of any affordable amount will help secure a comfortable standard of living for both the teacher and student.

Be aware though that when you come here you will be greatly tempted by the cheesecake in our restaurant, the fresh baked Spanish olive bread in our bakery and the 80 sq meter gift shop displaying a devotee dream world of devotional items. For those of you who have children, do not worry, we provide a day care service for your children while you attend the seminars. Radhadesh also plays host to the Bhaktivedanta Library Services bookshop, which is Europe's biggest supplier of devotional books and CD's. If you are fortunate enough you will meet Yadunandana Prabhu who is the principal of the Bhaktivedanta College. The college, which is in its fourth year of operation, is providing ministerial courses, vocational courses and Bhakti Sastri courses during nine months of the year.

Welcome to the Radhadesh Temple.
