HG Praghosa Prabhu conducted the meeting on behalf of the Chairman HH Bhakti Chaitanya Swami.

After welcoming the members and guests he read out the report of the business carried out by the Executive Committee during the year 2003.

All the members then went to the temple hall to offer Pushpanjali to His Divine Grace Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Thakur whose Appearance day was celebrated.

The GBC members were then asked to present a brief report of the activities carried out in their zones.

HH Sivarama Swami told us about the development of New Vraja Dhama project in Hungary. He also expressed his desire of decreasing his involvement in UK so that he could give more time to preaching in Hungary.

HH Radhanath Swami said preaching to college students by devotees from Radha Gopinath Temple at Chowpatty has reached a new dimension since they have rented apartments close to eight prominent colleges in Mumbai. Groups of serious students live in these apartments and practice Bhakti Yoga. Preaching in High Schools imparting Value Education is a new project. This project is supported by the Times Foundation of the Times of India group. Another highlight of this year was a Parikrama of Mayapur Dham in which more than 1400 devotees participated in 26 bus coaches.

HH Bhakti Bringa Govinda Maharaja had the opportunity of meeting the President of Kazakhstan during the Interfaith meet.

The presentation ended with HH Bhakti Caru Swami's report on a South African Poverty Eradication Project. A wonderful project, devotees have set up a farm in which they train the local residents how to run it independently. At the same time they are distributing more than 1000 plates of Krishna Prasad daily. Presently they are preparing to start a school in which children will have the opportunity to receive Krishna Conscious education. Great preaching!
