New Jersey holds Rathayatra on Sept. 12

ISKCON of New Jersey invites everyone to join the Lord Jagannatha Rathayatra festival on Sunday, September 12, 2004, at Liberty State Park, New Jersey. The Rathayatra will go through Liberty State Park and culminate at the CRRNJ Terminal, which will be the festival site. The festival will include a free feast, delicious snacks, cultural programs, dramas, ecstatic kirtan, etc.

Directions to Liberty State Park: Exit 14B from New Jersey Turnpike (extension). Follow signs into Liberty State Park. Once inside park, continue straight on Morris Pesin Drive and park in the parking area by IS Flag Plaza. Parade will start from this point. Shuttles will be available after the festival to bring people back to parking area. The park can also be reached by ferry from Manhattan.
