This year, Sri Krsna Janmastami will be celebrated with even more pomp and celebration. Cerntered around the second annual Golden Kalash Maha Abhiseka program, this year's Janmastami program will be packed with excitement from morning till night. Deity darshan, readings and kirtans all day, volunteering in Radharani's kitchen to help make the Janmastami feast, are just some of the services and activites of this years festival. In the evening, Sri Sri Radha Govinda will be dressed in a stunning new Flower outfit, and will reveal themselves at 7pm with a rousing kirtan. There will be bharatn natyam dances, and a drama, and of course the Bathing ceremony of Sri Sri Radha Krishna. At 11pm the transcendental auction of Sri Sri Radha Govinda's Mahaprasad paraphenalia will take place, followed by the finale Midnight arati and Darshan of Sri Sri Radha Govinda in a stunning new Night dress.

We request all the devotees to come with a prayer in their hearts to continue and increase their service to Sri Sri Radha Govinda, so that They may be pleased with us and give us Their unlimited Mercy such that we can serve them eternally...

** New Temple Room Floor **

As many of the devotees may have noticed this year, the Temple Room floor is ready to be replaced. After 20+ years of service by supporting the lotus feet of all the devotees who have gathered to sing and dance for the pleasure of Sri Sri Radha Govinda, the Temple Management is undertaking a plan to remove all the floor tiles and the damaged sub-floor, and replace it with a brand new, more sturdy, and weather resistant floor. The temple's maintenance team, comprised of Jagatpati Das, Ujjvala Das Bhaktas Bharath, Dhaniram, and Hemchan will undertake this grand operation with the help of volunteers in the week immediately after Janmastami. Their goal, is to offer the brand new floor to Sri Sri Radha Govinda by Radhastami. Funds for the materials are slated to come from the 2003 Janmastami auction.

If you would like to help with the floor removal and installation, or would like to donate seperately for the new floor, please contact Ramabhadra prabhu, (718) 875-6127 who will give you more details of this project.
