I'm excited to announce a new website, launched on Lord Nityananda's appearance day. This site was born of the growing need for networking in the largest devotee community in North America (New Ramanreti, in Alachua, Florida), put together by my husband Varnadi.
I thought it would be useful to the greater devotee world as well, as it offers a glimpse into the workings of the New Ramanreti community. You can find out about seminars, devotee businesses, accommodation, events, services, and lots more.
Our temple president is very happy with the concept of this new website, which is a very effective extension of the small bulletin board at the temple itself. There were times that I dropped by the temple office and our secretary would be receiving questions about accommodation on the temple property or service opportunities. The property itself has very little guest housing, so this site can be helpful to find both temporary and permanent accommodation through networking in the community. Those with specific qualifications, such as teachers, can advertise their services and possibly make the right connection.
Of course, Alachua residents, and even those living in the larger area encompassing the entire northern part of Florida, consider New Ramanreti their home temple. Now, no matter where they are, they can easily post things that they have for sale, explore their carpooling options, or offer classes and programs for when they are coming to town.
NewRamanretiHub.com is easy to use and free, so please check it out!
