Sandipani Muni school needs books
Posted November 5, 2004
On Kartik we will celebrate the first anniversary of Sandipani Muni School, a primary school founded by Food for Life Vrindavan for 500 of the poorest children in the area. We are providing all their basic needs including food, clothing, medical care, books, stationery and free schooling. We provide academic and spiritual education.
Certainly many devotees and friends will be coming to India for Kartik: we will be very grateful if you ask the devotees in your temple to bring or send old, used or new storybooks. Also educational items that they can get from schools like posters or human body descriptions, or world maps. At present we have very few storybooks and anything you send will be appreciated. Maybe you can put this message on the notice board or publish in a local Iskcon newsletter.
This will be a most valuable service. Thank you very much. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
