Service Opportunity - MIHE Communications Director

The Mayapur Institute for Higher Education is rapidly expanding its educational offerings and is looking for a qualified person to head its communications efforts.
Details of this position are provided below:
MIHE Communications Director
Reporting to the MIHE Director and based in Mayapur - the Communications Director will:
- Oversee production of all MIHE publicity and promotional materials
including newsletters, brochures, bulletin boards in Mayapur, and web site
development.
- Work closely with the print and electronic mass media to promote the
MIHE creating a plan for reaching the various audiences internationally
and
within India and Mayapur.
- Recruit, train, manage and motivate a staff.
The successful candidate will have good marketing and communication skills and the demonstrated ability to write and edit a variety of materials as well as work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Computer literacy including proficiency in MS-Word and MS-Excel is required. Background in public relations and the printing industry including desktop publishing and web site development is preferred.
