Bhakta Program At Bhaktivedanta Manor

Come and experience this residential course in the beautiful countryside setting of Bhaktivedanta Manor. The course is a combination of theoretical study and practical application. Experience the spirituality of the temple morning program, study Srila Prabhupada's books and his life, the history of ISKCON, book distribution, university and home visit programs, street procession Harinam, farming and milking cows, cooking and deity services, prasadam distribution, learn to play Indian musical instruments, meet other students, temple devotees and make new friends.

The Bhakta Program is a three-month residential course starting on the 6th of October 2008 and completing on the 31st December 2008. It is open to both men and women who want to have a systematic education of Krishna Consciousness and at the same time experience the simple living high thinking of temple life.

The course will cover 3 manuals: Devotional Practice, Theology & Philosophy, Vaishnava Culture. Classes and workshops will be held 4 days a week with accompanying general temple services i.e. cleaning, support in the kitchenn and assisting a number of festivals.
