Crowds of devotees attended a four-day festival held in Alachua, Florida, this October; headed by National SKP Leader, Vaisesika Prabhu.

Veteran book distributor, Nirmala dasi who had not gone out in 22 years said the seminar stirred up a desire in heart to go back out on Sankirtana. Vaisesika Prabhu shared various innovative strategies for engaging in book distribution; such as the Weekend Warrior book table, Sastra Dana, Door to Door, Donation Can Kirtana, and methods for distributing Srila Prabhupada's full sets of Srimad Bhagawatam and Caitanya Caritamrita.

When Nirmala dasi became inspired to go out on a weekend warrior book table, her enthusiasm was so contagious that her nine year old daughter, Vani joined her. Vani shared her realizations with the Alachua community by stating, "I liked seeing how people came up to the table to take a book and cookie. It made me really happy to see them walk away with smiles on their faces."

When it was time for Vani to go home, she begged her mata to allow her to stay on. Seeing how much her daughter loved being engaged in Lord Caitanya's Sankirtana mission of distributing Srila Prabhupada's books; Nirmala let her stay on with the other ladies. Vani took charge of passing out invitation flyers, giving out cookies, keeping track of how many books were distributed, and organizing the book table.

Witnessing this activity, I became fully convinced that the second and third generation grand disciples of Srila Prabhupada will be faithful and qualified to carry on and serve the mission of ISKCON.

The festival and seminar on book distribution included: Innovative, Painless Methods for Distributing Srila Prabhupada's Books, Singing Bhaktivinode Thakur's bhajans, The Seven Secrets of Highly Successful Book Distributors, The Four Laws of Book Distribution, and the The Iron Clad Laws: Sadhana, Get Books, The More You Show, the More You Sell, and Organize.

When Vaisesika prabhu is out in public he stated he will hand a Bhagavad Gita to someone he meets and say, "Bhakti is the yoga of gratitude. Have you ever noticed that when you have gratitude you are always happy no matter what your external circumstances are? If you don't have gratitude, it doesn't matter what material things you have, you will still be unhappy--because happiness comes from within."
